How I Started Selling Logos Online – My Journey as a Designer

For a long time, I used to create logos just for practice. I loved experimenting with shapes, fonts, and colors — but most of my designs never saw the light of day.

They sat quietly in my computer, in a folder named “Unused Logos.”

Every designer has one of those folders, right? One day, I came across a marketplace where people were selling pre-made logos — simple, clean, and not even as detailed as mine. That’s when I thought, “If they can sell, why can’t I?”

But when I actually tried to upload my logos, I got stuck.

Which platform should I use?
How should I name them?
What tags do I add?

How do I keep everything organized across multiple sites?

It was confusing. I wasted days researching, trying different websites, and failing to understand their systems.

Finding My Own System

I started keeping notes. Each time I uploaded a logo somewhere, I wrote down:

Which platform I used?
Which color styles people preferred?
Which tags performed better?
What kind of thumbnails caught attention?

After a few weeks, I realized I had built my own. That’s when it clicked — other designers might be facing the same confusion I had.

Creating the Guide

So I decided to put everything I learned into one file — a complete system that helps designers sell their logos like professionals. That’s how The Logo Seller’s Guide for Designers was born.

It’s not just a book - it’s something I wish I had when I started.
Inside it, I included all my templates:

The Logo Naming & Branding Sheet I personally use
A checklist to make every upload professional and consistent
A multi-platform upload tracker to stay organized
Keyword and tag examples that actually bring visibility

It’s everything I built through trial and error, packed into one resource for designers like me.

The First Sale

I’ll never forget the moment someone bought my first logo.
It wasn’t a huge amount, but it felt amazing — like my creativity finally had a place in the world.
That one sale changed the way I looked at design.
It wasn’t just art anymore — it was value.

Why I’m Sharing This

If you’re a designer sitting on dozens of unused logo concepts, please don’t let them go to waste.
Those designs can inspire someone’s business and bring you income at the same time.

It’s not about luck or being a big agency — it’s about having a system and staying consistent.
That’s what this guide is about — helping designers take that first confident step.

Sometimes, the things we create for practice end up being the most meaningful.
The logos I once kept hidden in my “Unused” folder are now out there — helping real brands grow.

And that’s the most satisfying part of being a designer — knowing that something you made is alive somewhere.

What’s Inside the Guide

When I created The Logo Seller’s Guide for Designers, my goal was simple — to make the process clear, organized, and repeatable.
No more guessing what to upload, where to tag, or how to present your work.

Here’s what’s inside the guide 👇

2. Upload Checklist

A simple checklist that keeps every upload professional — no missed steps, no last-minute confusion.

3. Keyword & Tag Examples

Proven tag and keyword lists that actually bring visibility — collected from multiple platforms and real results.

4. Multi-Platform Upload Tracker

It’s not just a file — it’s a complete workflow system designed for designers who want to turn creativity into income.
